About the Boot Hill Community Association | Regina

Your Boot Hill Community Association is a non-profit, volunteer organization committed to creating a vibrant, cohesive community and enhancing the quality of life for residents of Regina’s Boot Hill (Douglas Park) area.

The City of Regina is divided into five zones for programming purposes. The five zones are further divided into smaller community associations. BHCA is one of 28 (or so) community associations found in the City of Regina.

Among other things, Regina’s community associations, including BHCA are responsible for the following:

  • Coordinating recreation, leisure, or personal interest programs to meet local needs.
  • Communicating items of importance to residents through newsletters and use of community signs.
  • Acting as a conduit for resident concerns or community representative as required for matters related to City planning and development, recreation planning, and transit planning.
  • Organizing community events.
